BREEZY POINT CAMPS

Founded in 1976 by NHL scout and executive Chuck "Gringo" Grillo and "Miracle on Ice" coach Herb Brooks, the Minnesota Hockey Camp (MHC) was established with the goal of preparing young athletes for their future. Over 45 years later, this core philosophy remains, even as the camp has evolved. In late 2020, MHC was acquired by Chris Stewart (former Minnesota Wild player), Craig Larson (longtime MHC coach), and Tony Maucieri (local business owner). Starting in the summer of 2021, the camp moved to its new location at the Breezy Point Hockey Center. The new ownership group is committed to preserving the camp's legacy and the impactful experience it provides.
